Otterly.AI review: is the €29 entry plan enough?
Otterly.AI review: Lite costs €29 for 15 prompts and Standard €189, plus engine add-ons, strengths, limits and the cost per prompt and engine.

Managing Director at Alexandrya.AI

Otterly.AI is an AI visibility tracker built by OtterlyAI GmbH in Austria. Its Lite plan costs €29 a month and checks 15 prompts every day in ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot. In this Otterly.AI review, that is enough for one brand in one market. If you need several countries, Gemini or more than 15 questions, you need Standard at €189, as of 26 October 2026.
A note on where we stand: Alexandrya.AI is our own product, and we do not use Otterly.AI ourselves. This review is based on Otterly.AI’s published pricing, feature pages and help articles, all checked on 26 October 2026. For a wider market view with 14 tools, see our guide to Peec AI alternatives.

How much does Otterly.AI cost in October 2026?
Otterly.AI costs between €29 and €489 a month on monthly billing in October 2026. Lite includes 15 prompts, Standard 100 and Premium 400, each checked daily across four engines with unlimited team members. Annual billing takes 15% off, bringing the plans to €25, €160 and €422 a month. Enterprise starts at 1,000 prompts and is priced on request.
| Plan | Monthly | Annual, per month | Prompts | Workspaces | Recommendations | API, MCP, Looker Studio |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lite | €29 | €25 | 15 | 1 | 3 per week | no |
| Standard | €189 | €160 | 100 | unlimited | unlimited | yes |
| Premium | €489 | €422 | 400 | unlimited | unlimited | yes |
| Enterprise | custom | custom | from 1,000 | unlimited | unlimited | yes, custom quota |
Otterly.AI shows the same figures in US dollars or euros depending on where you visit from. Opened from Germany, the Otterly.AI pricing page lists euro amounts, even though the add-on note still says US dollars excluding tax. The Otterly.AI help centre confirms that currency follows location. We use euros throughout so the numbers line up with Alexandrya.AI.

Extra prompts come in packs of 100 for €99 a month, on Standard and Premium only. Standard caps add-on prompts at 300, after which Otterly.AI moves you to Premium. The free trial runs for seven days with 50 prompts and no credit card, according to a help article dated 4 August 2026. A few product pages still advertise 14 days.
Four engines included, three sold as add-ons
Every Otterly.AI plan tracks ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot. Google AI Mode, Gemini and Claude are paid add-ons, and their price rises with the plan. Gemini costs €9 a month on Lite, €59 on Standard and €149 on Premium. Claude costs €29, €109 or €439, so on Premium it comes close to the base price of the plan itself.
| Add-on per month | Lite | Standard | Premium |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google AI Mode | €9 | €59 | €149 |
| Google Gemini | €9 | €59 | €149 |
| Claude | €29 | €109 | €439 |
| 100 extra prompts | not available | €99 | €99 |
All seven engines on Standard add up to €189 plus €59 plus €59 plus €109, or €416 a month for 100 prompts. The add-ons look cheap on Lite because they only cover 15 prompts there. The pricing follows the quota: the more prompts you have, the more each extra engine costs.
Is the Otterly.AI Lite plan enough?
The Otterly.AI Lite plan is enough for one brand, one market and up to 15 core questions, checked daily in four engines. As a trial run or a single side project, €29 is a fair price. Lite stops working once you need several countries, regular Gemini or Google AI Mode coverage, an API or a second workspace, because the Lite quota cannot be topped up.
Countries are the first constraint international brands run into. According to the help article on prompt limits, one prompt covers exactly one country. Tracking the same question in the UK, the US and Ireland uses three prompts. Out of 15, that leaves five questions per market. Five questions barely cover your brand name, two category queries and two comparisons with competitors.
The second constraint is the step above. Otterly.AI has no plan between 15 and 100 prompts, and prompt packs are not available on Lite. Moving from Lite to Standard costs €160 more a month, so a team with 30 or 40 prompts has no matching option and pays for 100. The other Lite limits sit in the feature list on the pricing page: one workspace, three recommendations a week, no API or MCP access and no Looker Studio connector. An agency or anyone running two brands hits the workspace limit before the quota. Lite is generous on GEO audits, though, with 1,000 URL checks a month, which covers a mid-sized website.
Our view: Lite is a good way to find out whether AI visibility matters for your brand at all. It is not a working plan for a marketing team.
Cost per prompt and engine, worked out
The cost per prompt and engine is the monthly price divided by prompts times engines. Otterly.AI Lite comes to €0.48 with four engines, Standard to €0.47 and Premium to €0.31. Alexandrya.AI works out at €0.53 on Starter with three engines and €0.27 on Professional with five. All figures use list prices on monthly billing as of 26 October 2026.
| Plan | Monthly price | Prompts | Engines | Cost per prompt and engine |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Otterly.AI Lite | €29 | 15 | 4 | €0.48 |
| Otterly.AI Lite with Gemini | €38 | 15 | 5 | €0.51 |
| Otterly.AI Standard | €189 | 100 | 4 | €0.47 |
| Otterly.AI Standard with Gemini | €248 | 100 | 5 | €0.50 |
| Otterly.AI Premium | €489 | 400 | 4 | €0.31 |
| Otterly.AI Premium with Gemini | €638 | 400 | 5 | €0.32 |
| Alexandrya.AI Starter | €79 | 50 | 3 | €0.53 |
| Alexandrya.AI Professional | €199 | 150 | 5 | €0.27 |
| Alexandrya.AI Business | €399 | 350 | 5 | €0.23 |

At entry level Otterly.AI is cheaper both in total and per unit: €29 against €79, and €0.48 against €0.53. From around 100 prompts the picture flips once Gemini is added. With five engines, one prompt-engine pair costs €0.50 on Otterly.AI Standard and €0.27 on Alexandrya.AI Professional.
A worked example: 20 core questions tracked in the UK, the US and Ireland make 60 prompts. On Otterly.AI that only fits into Standard, which costs €248 a month with Gemini. On Alexandrya.AI, extra markets also count against the prompt quota according to the pricing page, and Professional includes 150 prompts, three countries and five selectable models for €199. If you only need the four standard engines and 15 prompts in one country, Otterly.AI Lite saves you €50 a month. Two caveats belong next to these numbers. Otterly.AI Standard includes API, MCP, Looker Studio and unlimited workspaces for its price, while Alexandrya.AI Professional has two projects, MCP and no API. And the calculation ignores features entirely; it only compares what one daily measurement costs.
Annual billing does not change the ranking, since both vendors give around 15% off.
What Otterly.AI does beyond tracking
Otterly.AI adds an optimisation layer to daily tracking, made up of a GEO audit, a content audit and recommendations. According to the AI Search Optimization page, the GEO audit tests 19 AI crawlers against your robots.txt and your live server. The content audit scores a page on 15 structural checks and 13 AI readiness dimensions. Recommendations come in ten types, split into on-page and off-page actions.
On the measurement side, Otterly.AI offers brand reports with share of voice, sentiment and a Brand Visibility Index, plus citation source tracking, link citation analysis and a ranking of cited domains. For choosing prompts there is a prompt research tool and a query fan-out tool. Newer additions include tracking of ads inside ChatGPT, Agent Analytics for AI crawlers on your own site (still in early access according to Otterly.AI’s llms.txt) and a marketplace for booking placements on sites that AI engines already cite.
Where Otterly.AI is strong
Otterly.AI’s biggest strength is technical GEO checking in the same tool as tracking. If you want to know whether GPTBot or PerplexityBot can reach a page at all, you get that from Lite upwards.
Standard is generous for agencies and multi-brand teams: unlimited workspaces, unlimited countries and languages, API, MCP and Looker Studio for €189. Agency partners get 150 prompts instead of 100, pitch workspaces and a single invoice, according to the pricing page. We compare agency plans in detail in our article on AI monitoring pricing for agencies.
For European buyers, location matters. The imprint lists OtterlyAI GmbH in Persenbeug, Lower Austria, registered at the commercial court of St. Pölten. Thomas Peham, Josef Trauner and Klaus-M. Schremser founded the company, and the product launched in October 2024. The platform is hosted with AWS in Frankfurt, according to the security page.
Where Otterly.AI falls short
The engine add-ons are the biggest cost the entry price hides. Gemini and Google AI Mode are missing from the base price and cost €59 each from Standard upwards, €118 a month together.
The security page describes a second data location: Otterly.AI stores public monitoring data in a US data centre in North Virginia. The platform itself runs in Frankfurt, according to the same page. If your organisation has strict rules, raise the point with your data protection officer before you sign.
We did not find task management with status, owner and history on Otterly.AI’s public pages. The recommendations are prioritised. If you want to assign them and tick them off, you will need a separate system as far as we can tell. Smaller inconsistencies, such as 7 versus 14 trial days and euro amounts under a US dollar note, are not deal-breakers but are worth a question before you buy.
Otterly.AI review verdict: who it is right for
Otterly.AI is right for individuals and small teams who want to test, with 15 prompts in one country, whether their brand appears in AI answers at all. It also suits teams that want technical GEO checks and tracking in one tool, and agencies that need many workspaces, an API and Looker Studio from €189.
Otterly.AI is a weaker fit for brands that track 30 to 60 prompts across three countries.

Decision guide by prompt count, countries and engines. Our own assessment based on the pricing pages, as of 26 October 2026.
The chart in text form: Lite is enough for one brand, one country, up to 15 prompts and the four standard engines, as a first test without team use. Standard is needed for several brands or clients, for API, MCP or Looker Studio, for technical GEO audits in a team, and for up to 100 prompts, more with packs. Alexandrya.AI fits better for 30 to 150 prompts, for Gemini, Google AI Mode or Claude at no extra cost, for three countries on the mid plan, and when recommendations should be worked through as tasks with a status.
Otterly.AI vs Alexandrya.AI, side by side
Alexandrya.AI is an AI visibility tool made by NX Digital GmbH in Grünwald near Munich. It measures brand mentions in ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot and turns them into content and citation tasks. The difference from Otterly.AI is in how the plans are cut: Otterly.AI is cheaper to enter and broader on technical checks, while Alexandrya.AI includes more prompts and freely selectable models in the base price and tracks recommendations as tasks inside the tool.
| Criterion | Otterly.AI | Alexandrya.AI |
|---|---|---|
| Based in | Persenbeug, Austria | Grünwald near Munich, Germany |
| Entry plan | €29, 15 prompts, 4 engines | €79, 50 prompts, 3 selectable models |
| Mid plan | €189, 100 prompts, 4 engines | €199, 150 prompts, 5 selectable models |
| Gemini, AI Mode, Claude | add-on, €9 to €439 a month | in the model choice at no extra cost |
| Countries | unlimited, each country uses prompts | 1 / 3 / multi-country, markets use prompts |
| Workspaces or projects | 1 on Lite, then unlimited | 1 / 2 / 5 |
| API | from Standard | Enterprise only |
| MCP | from Standard | from Professional, read only |
| Looker Studio | from Standard | from Business |
| Technical GEO audit, crawler checks | yes | no |
| Recommendations | 10 types, on-page and off-page | Action Plan with content briefs, outreach targets, quick wins |
| Tasks with status in the tool | not found on public pages | task board with Open, In Progress, Done |
| Free trial | 7 days, 50 prompts, no credit card | 7 days, full feature set, no credit card |
The table shows two different profiles. Otterly.AI wins on entry price, integrations on the mid plan and technical checks. Alexandrya.AI wins on prompt volume, model choice in the base price and the path from recommendation to finished task. Alexandrya.AI has no crawler checks, no SKU tracking and no alerts or Slack connection, and its API is limited to Enterprise. You can see the full feature set on the product page.
