What SE Ranking's AI visibility tracker costs, and where it falls short

SE Ranking’s AI visibility tracker is the AI module of SE Ranking’s SEO suite. It checks whether your brand is named or linked in Google AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT and Gemini, with 25 daily AI prompts included for €109 a month on Core. Verdict of this SE Ranking AI visibility tracker review: it suits SEO teams wanting SEO and AI data in one subscription (as of 2 November 2026).

A word on where this comes from: Alexandrya.AI is our own product, and we do not use SE Ranking ourselves. This review is based on SE Ranking’s and SE Visible’s public product, pricing and FAQ pages, accessed on 27 October 2026 and again on 29 October and 2 November 2026, and on Alexandrya.AI’s own measurement data. Prices are quoted in euros, as the pages show them to visitors from Germany; visitors from other regions may see other currencies. We found no note on VAT on the pricing page.

How much does SE Ranking’s AI visibility tracker cost?

SE Ranking’s AI visibility tracker, which the product calls the “AI Search toolkit”, comes inside its SEO plans: Core costs €109 a month and Growth €235, and both include 25 AI prompts tracked daily on five AI engines. Annual billing cuts both by 20%, to €87.20 and €188. More prompts are only available through SE Visible, the standalone AI product, from €80 a month or €64 on annual billing (as of 2 November 2026).

SE Ranking therefore sells AI tracking through two routes, which differ on price, prompt volume and user seats: a small allowance inside the SEO suite, and SE Visible, which SE Ranking’s pricing page also offers as an extension. The table brings together every tier listed on the SE Ranking pricing page and the SE Visible pricing page, both accessed on 2 November 2026.

SE Visible Agency gives you the most prompts per euro, with 1,000 prompts for €355. The SE Visible card on SE Ranking’s pricing page shows the same tiers and prices as SE Visible’s own pricing page, starting at €64 on annual billing. The AI allowance inside Core and Growth is small by comparison: 25 prompts, one project, one location per project.

Until late October, SE Ranking’s pricing page contradicted itself on prompt numbers: the plan cards listed “100 prompts to track daily” on Core and 250 on Growth, with “SE Visible included” and 25 prompts further down. On 2 November 2026 the cards showed only the 25 prompts on five AI engines. The comparison table adds one project, one location per project and unlimited users.

The pricing page is changing fast. On 27 October, the slot now taken by SE Visible showed an “AI Search” add-on with Microsoft Copilot marked “coming soon”, and on 29 October an SE Visible add-on from €63.20 for 200 prompts. On 2 November the card showed SE Visible at its regular prices, from €64 on annual billing.

SE Ranking offers a 14-day trial with no credit card. According to its FAQ, the trial covers 10 projects, 750 tracked keywords a day, 20 AI prompts a day and AI competitor research for three domains. SE Visible has a 10-day trial. Payments are non-refundable unless the service was not delivered as promised, and you can cancel at any time.

What one tracked prompt costs per month

One AI prompt tracked daily costs €4.36 a month on SE Ranking Core and €9.40 on Growth, because both include only 25 AI prompts. On SE Visible it is between €1.07 and €0.36, depending on the plan, and on Alexandrya.AI €1.58 on Starter and €1.33 on Professional. The figure is the monthly list price on monthly billing divided by the number of prompts tracked daily, as of 2 November 2026. SE Ranking’s price does cover the whole SEO suite, though.

Per AI prompt, SE Ranking’s SEO plans cost more than Alexandrya.AI, but the SEO suite is already paid for. SE Visible is cheaper per prompt than Alexandrya.AI, and if price per prompt is all you look at, SE Visible Agency wins. The comparison counts prompts, though, and a prompt is not an answer: on SE Ranking each prompt runs on four engines according to the product page and five according to the pricing page, on Alexandrya.AI on three or five that you pick yourself. What SE Ranking tracks as AI brand monitoring software

As AI brand monitoring software, SE Ranking records whether a brand appears in the answers to your prompts, with or without a link, and where it sits among the cited sources. According to the product page it covers Google AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT and Gemini. SE Ranking collects the answers through each platform’s user interface, as a real user would see them, and stores copies (as of 27 October 2026).

The AI visibility tracker page also describes these building blocks (accessed on 27 October 2026):

• You add your own prompts. AI competitor research also measures the AI presence of any domain and shows the prompts and citations behind it.
• Side-by-side comparison covers up to five competitors. The SE Visible card on the pricing page also promises unlimited competitor research in SE Ranking.
• Sources appear as domains and URLs, grouped by type such as media, blogs and forums.
• Seven markets and five languages are supported.
• Paid placements inside ChatGPT answers are part of SE Ranking’s competitor research, according to its ChatGPT ads tracker page. The menu also lists a tracker for ads in AI Mode.
• Data leaves the platform through the API, MCP, or connectors for Data Studio, AgencyAnalytics and Whatagraph.

The vendor pages do not agree on the number of engines. The pricing page lists five AI engines for Core and Growth and names Microsoft Copilot on the SE Visible card, while the FAQ on the tracker page lists four. SE Visible’s pricing page also includes Copilot, but SE Visible’s homepage leaves it out (as of 2 November 2026).

SE Ranking’s strength is one subscription for SEO and AI

SE Ranking’s biggest strength is that AI tracking and classic SEO tools run on the same subscription. Even the Core plan at €109 a month includes 2,000 keywords tracked daily, 25 AI prompts, keyword and backlink research, a site audit of 250,000 pages a month, 25,000 API credits and MCP access. An SEO team saves a second tool and a second data export.

Agencies can add the Agency Pack for €59 a month, billed annually only, with white label for the platform and reports and 30 client seats. The product page has a free AI visibility check that compares your domain with up to five competitors on the four engines, five checks a day. And ad tracking in ChatGPT covers a layer that tools counting only organic mentions miss.

SE Ranking is also the strongest source on this topic in its own right. In Alexandrya.AI’s data, seranking.com is the most cited domain, with 2,434 citations at an average position of 4.37 in the source list, ahead of youtube.com with 1,785 and blog.hubspot.de with 1,027 (Alexandrya.AI’s own measurement, as of 27 October 2026, 43 tracked prompts).

An example from the same measurement shows which pages earn those citations. For the German prompt “Tool für KI-Suchmaschinen-Monitoring kaufen” (buy an AI search monitoring tool), Google AI Mode listed SE Ranking’s guide to the best GEO tools of 2026 first among its sources on 27 October, with a second SE Ranking article third. Gemini cited the same guide fourth. That shows the reach of SE Ranking’s content and says nothing about the quality of its tracker.

Where SE Ranking falls short

The clearest limit of SE Ranking’s AI visibility tracker is engine coverage. It tracks Google AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT and Gemini, and so far only the pricing page lists Microsoft Copilot. As of 2 November 2026, Perplexity is on none of the engine lists of SE Ranking or SE Visible and appears on the pricing page only as an example in two tooltips, and only SE Visible announces Claude. So if your buyers research in Perplexity, you have no data from it.

Then there is the market list. SE Visible names the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, France, Germany, the Netherlands and Spain. Australia, Ireland, Austria and Switzerland are not on it, and none of the public pages says whether SE Ranking measures there anyway.

User seats are tight on the SEO plans. Core has one manager seat and Growth three, with each extra seat from €14.40 a month. Guest links for view-only access only come with Growth. A marketing team of five on Core therefore pays for four extra seats, while SE Visible includes unlimited users, also for the AI allowance inside Core.

How far the recommendations go is still open. The tracker page promises insights with specific steps to improve your AI rankings. SE Visible’s pricing table marks “Agents” as beta and “Content gaps” as “Soon”, and its menu flags “AI Brand Sentiment Tracking” as “coming soon” while the same pricing table already lists “Net Sentiment” as included. Add the frequent changes to the pricing page and the contradiction on the engine count, and you should set aside time in the trial to check these points in your own account.

SE Ranking AI visibility tracker review: who is it for?

SE Ranking’s AI visibility tracker suits SEO teams and agencies that need an SEO suite anyway and want to measure AI visibility mainly in Google’s AI Overviews and AI Mode, plus ChatGPT and Gemini. For them, the Core plan at €109 a month is the cheapest way in, with 25 AI prompts; anyone who needs more adds SE Visible. It fits less well if Perplexity, Claude, or markets outside its seven are part of the brief.

If you need no SEO data but many prompts and many users, SE Visible is the more direct route. On its Agency plan you can switch to weekly tracking so the allowance covers more prompts.

How SE Ranking, SE Visible and Alexandrya.AI compare for AI reputation monitoring

For AI reputation monitoring, SE Visible leads on price per prompt and Alexandrya.AI on the number of engines you can choose from. SE Ranking Core tracks 25 AI prompts for €109 and adds the SEO suite, SE Visible Basic 75 prompts for €80, and Alexandrya.AI Starter 50 prompts on three of nine selectable engines for €79. The table lists only values all three vendors publish, as of 2 November 2026.

Two rows matter most: SE Ranking charges per user seat and the other two do not, and only Alexandrya.AI lets you add Perplexity and Claude to your prompt set. The full plan details are on Alexandrya.AI’s pricing page.

SE Ranking or Alexandrya.AI for AI search monitoring?

SE Ranking is the better choice if you want AI visibility measured alongside rankings, backlinks and audits in one subscription, and Google’s AI surfaces matter most. Alexandrya.AI fits better if Perplexity, Claude or Copilot belong in your prompt set and you want the data turned into prioritised tasks for your team. Alexandrya.AI does not provide SEO rankings, backlinks or site audits.

What to check before you buy an AI search monitoring tool

Before you buy an AI search monitoring tool, compare the engines, the supported countries and the price per prompt tracked daily. As of 2 November 2026 that price runs from €0.36 on SE Visible Agency to €9.40 on SE Ranking Growth, which includes only 25 AI prompts; Alexandrya.AI sits between €1.14 and €1.58. SE Ranking tracks four or five engines, depending on the page, Alexandrya.AI three or five out of nine that you choose. Dashboards and reports come after that.

For SE Ranking, that means using the 14-day trial to confirm the engine list, the markets and the actual prompt allowance in your own account. These five questions belong in the trial:

1. Which engines are active in your account, and when will SE Ranking start tracking Copilot?
2. Are your countries, for example Australia or Switzerland, available as a market of their own?

What are the best SE Ranking alternatives for AI visibility?

The SE Ranking alternatives for AI visibility fall into two groups. The first is other SEO suites with an AI module, such as Semrush with its AI Visibility Toolkit, Ahrefs with Brand Radar or SISTRIX with its AI section.
